Events
The Veluwe is known for its beautiful nature, vast forests and charming villages, but there is also plenty to do in terms of events! Throughout the year, numerous fun activities are organised for young and old alike.
Ruurlo: Exhibition Fong Leng & Mathilde Chic Le Freak (until 28 June 2026)
Until the end of June, Museum JAN and Museum MORE | Ruurlo Castle are showcasing the revolutionary creations of Dutch fashion icon Fong-Leng.
The exhibition at Ruurlo Castle focuses primarily on the roaring 1970s and Fong-Leng's relationship with “living work of art” Mathilde Willink. In addition to a selection of unique, sculptural garments, MORE also displays denim designs that Fong-Leng created for Levi's. New works by fashion photographer Ferry van der Nat also show how contemporary Fong-Leng's fashion still is.|
Doesburg: Marc Chagall Exhibition (until 21 June 2026)
The Laligue Museum is hosting a temporary exhibition on the famous artist Marc Chagall (1887-1985).
The exhibition focuses primarily on his themes: motherhood, women in general, and sirens in particular. His artworks are characterised by a free, imaginative and dreamlike expression. Chagall can rightly be called the greatest colour poet of all time.
